Mumbai school cricketer Pranav Dhanawade continued to storm into the record books today when he reached 1002 not out for KC Gandhi School against Arya Gurukul during the H.T. Bhandari Cup inter-school cricket tournament organised by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA).
Dhanawade, the son of an auto-rickshaw driver, had broken the record for the highest individual score in any class of cricket yesterday when he reached 652 not out. The record was earlier held by Arthur Collins, who had scored 628 not out in a Junior House Match in June, 1899 in England.
